The family law firm of Gevurtz Menashe purchased the historic Fleischner-Mayer building in Old Town/Chinatown with the help of brokers Peter Andrews and Nick Ehlen. Currently located in the US. Bancorp Tower, the firm plans to relocate its 43-person staff to the top two floors of the 38,000 square foot building located at 115 NW First Avenue. Shareholders in the firm purchased the building and an adjoining parking lot from the Bill Naito Co. for $6 million. Melvin Mark will handle property management duties for the new building owners, while Peter and Nick will market the balance of the space to prospective tenants.

Action Without Borders/Idealist.org
The Portland-based web development team was struggling to work in office quarters that were inappropriate for their work and under-sized for their planned growth. Idealist.org wanted a more collaborative, creative environment that could accommodate events. Peter and the team located a penthouse floor at the Historic Police Building with all the attributes Idealist was looking for in their new home and negotiated a competitive deal that allowed Idealist to build-out the space within their required budget.
