Kelley Knorr’s outstanding service as Melvin Mark’s Executive Vice President of Operations spanned a little more than a decade. She recently announced she will retire in January 2027, and we are celebrating her contributions to our operating platform, recent transactions, and team.
Kelley joined the team in 2016 to lead our property management and construction teams. She helped restructure the operations department around a property- and asset-management model that continues to guide how our company manages our Portland-area portfolio. Her responsibilities have encompassed portfolio operations, client and ownership relationships, construction oversight, transaction due diligence, and team development.
“Kelley has helped shape not only how we operate, but how we work together,” said Jim Mark, CEO/Chairman. “She brought care and discipline to complex projects while keeping people and relationships at the center of the work. We are deeply grateful for the foundation she helped build and everything she has given to Melvin Mark over the past decade.”
Kelley’s recent work reflects the breadth of that contribution; she led operations and transaction execution for the 2026 sale of OnPoint Plaza, participated in the team behind Gerber’s long-term lease and office-to-industrial transformation at Peyton Business Center, and helped coordinate the operational transition following Melvin Mark’s acquisition of 200 Market.
Before joining Melvin Mark, Kelley had more than 25 years of Portland-area commercial real estate experience, including service as General Manager of Shorenstein Realty Services’ Portland portfolio. She holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and LEED Green Associate credentials.
Kelley’s industry and community service includes leadership roles with BOMA and IREM, and board service with the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce, Kruse Way Economic Forum and George Fox University Alumni Association. She also mentored entrepreneurs in Kigali, Rwanda, through These Numbers Have Faces.
In retirement, she looks forward to spending more time with her grandchildren.
“My time at Melvin Mark has been a meaningful capstone to my career,” said Knorr. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together and grateful for the colleagues, clients, and partners who made the work so rewarding. I look forward to celebrating this next chapter with my family.”
