DLR Group is a renowned design firm with more than 30 offices throughout the U.S. and in other countries. When the company was looking for a new Portland office, Melvin Mark’s Paul Andrews helped them find a home in the Yamhill Historic District at 2&Taylor. They quickly envisioned turning their 19,000 SF suite into a creative studio where growing teams could come together and work. Inspired by Portland’s vibrant neighborhoods, DLR Group’s design and engineering experts created an office concept that includes open collaboration zones, enclosed focus rooms, a makerspace, a raised social mezzanine, transformable pinup areas, a VR immersion space, and a basement-level sprint room, all illuminated by a three-story atrium of natural light.
