When the owners of Harley Davidson PDX Speed Shop went looking for a new location, they were also looking for a new type of customer. Ultimately, they settled on 4,407 square feet of retail space at Lovejoy Square-South in the Pearl District. They wanted an urban location that would attract a new, younger rider. Broker Don Drake represented the landlord and worked with the tenant’s broker to secure the perfect fit in an area that caters to twenty- and thirty-somethings and is surrounded by urban lofts, boutique shops and popular restaurants. Their store features fewer Harley bikes and more of the Harley lifestyle, including merchandise and clothing.
