Overview
Born in New Jersey, Casandra lived in an array of U.S. cities growing up. She made her way to the Pacific Northwest in 2009 and recently found herself in Portland. Though she says she wasn’t always interested in engineering, the industry is where she belongs. Before she became an engineer, Casandra held a variety of jobs including forklift driver and data center help desk technician. She also holds multiple certifications – her favorite one being a boom lift operator because “I’m good at elevating myself and those around me.”
Casandra was drawn to Melvin Mark because of its work culture and joined the team as an Assistant Building Engineer and helps others make sure our portfolio of buildings and tenants are taken care of.
In her down time, Casandra loves hosting movie and TV show watch parties; she considers herself a cinephile and owns over 400 different movies and shows. She also loves finding new plants to decorate her space.
