Overview

Dan joined Melvin Mark Companies in 1987 and spent the first part of his career learning building operations from the inside out. He began as a building superintendent and soon advanced to building manager, where he worked closely with Melvin Mark brokers and the building engineering staff. In his daily efforts, Dan helped manage tenant improvements and capital improvement projects while keeping tenants happy, properties full, and building systems working smoothly.

Today he serves as the project manager at Melvin Mark, performing work on the company’s entire portfolio of buildings. With his organization skills and acute attention to detail, he keeps track of a wide variety of projects while managing tight construction schedules and budgets. This ensures high levels of service to building tenants and helps satisfy ownership investment goals.

No matter what the project, Dan demonstrates professionalism and a strong work ethic. He holds Real Property Administrator and Facilities Management Administrator designations from BOMA International.

In his tenure at Melvin Mark, Dan has become an essential member of the team. He upholds the company’s longstanding values and considers it a pleasure to work for a business that supports and cares for its employees’ successes. Dan was born and raised in Portland and in his free time enjoys road cycling, mountain biking, and skiing.  He also enjoys spending time at home with his two dogs, both Italian Greyhounds.
