Liz has always had a natural talent for management and in 2010, she brought her professional experience to Melvin Mark Companies. As a Property Manager, she leads a team of engineers, administrative staff, and maintenance personnel in the oversight of multiple commercial properties in the Portland metro area.
Liz believes that successful tenants yield a successful building, which is why she collaborates closely with other Melvin Mark experts to ensure effective building operations and the maximum success of each property. She expertly balances responsibilities including vendor contracts, daily operations, lease administration, capital improvements, routine/emergency maintenance, monthly budgets, and more. Most importantly, Liz’s friendly personality and energetic attitude help her form long-lasting relationships with both building owners and tenants. By keeping communication at the forefront of her role, she provides excellent customer service and a personal touch that many clients value in a property manager.
As former co-chair of Melvin Mark’s green team, Liz is a certified LEED Green Associate and works to develop and improve the company’s green building programs. She enjoys promoting environmentally responsible projects to enhance properties and create added value for her clients.
Liz is also active in a variety of volunteer and community outreach programs and loves the creative, outdoorsy, and entrepreneurial vibe that Portland has to offer. She shares in the pride that local Portlanders have for their city and says she couldn’t live anywhere else.
