Overview

Kelley joined Melvin Mark in 2016 to serve in an executive capacity leading the property management and construction teams. Her first mission was to utilize her experience in managing operations teams and restructure the department to best serve Melvin Mark’s 3+ million square feet of commercial space. Kelley implemented a plan to transition to a property/asset management format and three years later, the plan is fully in place.

When she joined the team, Kelley was a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in office, retail, and industrial property management in the Portland region, including complex portfolio structures and leadership of large property teams. Immediately prior to her current role, she served as General Manager with Shorenstein Realty Services’ Portland portfolio, first leading a team at Lincoln Center and Nimbus Corporate Park and then at the 1.8-million-square-foot Kruse Woods Corporate Park. Kelley also directed the construction management and administration functions for Shorenstein’s entire 4-million-square-foot regional portfolio.

Kelley’s positive energy and warm personality help her easily build relationships with both her partners and her colleagues. She is constantly motivated to make a positive difference and has always regarded Melvin Mark highly because of the company’s same values. Having spent her entire career in Portland, Kelley has a deep sense of community and a love for the city. When she’s not working, she is active in her local community garden, traveling and hiking.

Professional Experience

In her leadership roles, Kelley has provided operational vision, strategy, and overall direction for a variety of commercial real estate endeavors. She specializes in leading teams through change, while effectively planning, developing, and implementing the organization’s goals.
