Nick co-founded Melvin Mark Investors in 2019. Prior to that, he spent 13 years working in commercial real estate brokerage, investment and development. Additionally, since 2013 Nick has co-led, along with Jim Mark, Melvin Mark’s real estate investment partnership with Becker Capital Management. In this role, Nick has been directly responsible for over $100 million in investment acquisitions and dispositions.


Nick is passionate about his community and is involved in both local and national non-profit organizations.  He currently serves as a trustee of The Nature Conservancy in Oregon, a trustee of the James R. Kuse Family Foundation, a trustee of the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation and serves on the Board of Governors of the Pacific Northwest College of Art.


A native Oregonian, naturally he’s also a fly fisherman. Passionate about the outdoors, he’s invested in the future of the state and celebration of its resources. A fourth-generation Oregonian, Nick holds a BSc in Government from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
