Overview

Peter joined Melvin Mark in 2004, specializing in commercial office leasing and investment with a focus on creative office space and tenants. Peter’s clients are impressed by his knowledge of the market and his ability to understand their needs and desires and match them with the right location. He’s a detail-oriented guy with an innate ability to listen and ask good questions, and never tires of guiding his clients through the process. Knowing that no two deals are the same, he tailors his analysis and search process to meet each client’s specific goals. As a grandson of the founder, he has a deep sense of pride in his job and his part in a thriving family business. He was instrumental in the concept, redevelopment and leasing of 2&Taylor, the company’s signature creative office in downtown Portland’s Yamhill District and has worked with numerous owners in pre-development planning and marketing of new development projects. Peter has coordinated the leasing for the Goodman family’s office portfolio, assisted Expensify in locating and leasing its new Portland headquarters, and worked with numerous large, small, local and institutional owners and users in the Portland marketplace.

Peter received a BA in Spanish with a minor in International Business from Santa Clara University. He has served as the chair of the BOMA Board (2015) and Clean & Safe (2014, 2017) and is involved with numerous local charities. An avid golfer, runner, cyclist and skier, he is passionate about Portland and Oregon. He lives with his wife Maddie and their two young children in NW Portland.
