Overview
Shea joined Melvin Mark in 2021 and brought more than 10 years of engineering experience with him. He started his career in the industry as a maintenance manager for Portland’s General Growth Properties in 2008. Since then, he has held a variety of engineering positions and has grown his knowledge and skillset across multiple types of properties. Shea is very thankful to have fallen into property management and loves getting to know new buildings and the intricacies of what makes them special. He believes each property has its own personality and is “more than just concrete and metal.”
As a Building Engineer at Melvin Mark, Shea maintains heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems, monitors building energy use, and is dedicated to making sure tenants are comfortable and cared for. When he’s not working, you can find Shea discovering new bars and restaurants, playing cards, and working on puzzles with his wife and three kids.
