Throughout his career, Tom has represented some of Portland’s most admired and successful companies. As a broker with Melvin Mark Brokerage Company, he works with both landlords and tenants and is valued for his professionalism, attention to detail, clear communication skills, and 100% commitment to each project’s success.

Tom was one of the first members of the MMBC team and has always embraced and upheld the values of the Melvin Mark brand. He believes in putting people first and enjoys developing solutions for his diverse and interesting client base. Leveraging his years of successful experience and an extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market, Tom’s diligence makes each of his clients feel like they are his most important.

During his tenure at Melvin Mark, Tom has represented top companies like Miller Nash Attorneys, KPFF Consulting Engineers, Perkins & Company Accounting, Ferguson Wellman Capital Management, and Dull Olson Weekes Architects as well as a variety of other tenants.  He has also represented several landmark office buildings, including US Bancorp Tower, Umpqua Bank Plaza, Columbia Square and the Fifth Avenue Building. Representing both landlords and tenants provides Tom a unique perspective and the ability to understand both sides of a transaction, a key ingredient to his success.

As a Portland native, Tom has always had a love for the city and enjoys being part of the positive impact Melvin Mark has on it. In his free time, he enjoys travel, cooking for family and friends, and when the weather is nice, a game of golf or making improvements in his garden.
