Valorie Cochran , CPM

Overview

Valorie joined Melvin Mark Companies in 2017 with more than 20 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate. During her career, she has managed a variety of office, retail, multi-family, and flex properties, focusing on tenant relations, lease administration, property operations, preventative maintenance, and sustainability initiatives.

Before her role of Senior Property Manager at Melvin Mark, Valorie spent several years in Las Vegas as a top property manager and income producer for a large REIT. She managed approximately two million square feet of retail operations and brought her expertise back to Oregon, where she immediately managed several high-profile office buildings in and near downtown Portland. With her attention to detail and leadership skills, Valorie keeps her properties operating efficiently and works to maximize their potential.

Valorie is committed to being accessible and supportive in her tenant interactions to ensure that relationships are nurtured and needs are met. She places high value on team building and professional development for work colleagues and those in the real estate industry. Valorie holds a Certified Property Manager (CPM) certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management and has actively supported the organization through board leadership positions in both Las Vegas and Portland.

Like most Oregon natives, Valorie enjoys spending her free time outdoors. She loves heading to the beach or the mountains when she can, and she always enjoys spending time with her family.
